A young dot-com entrepreneur (Maury Sterling) hosts a ten-year college reunion for a group of his closest friends, using the weekend to introduce them to his fiancee (Barbara Fixx), who’s also a business partner in what he claims is a new Internet dating venture. In reality he’s setting up a porn site to get himself out of debt from his previous business failures. The lie unravels though, as a scantily clad assortment of oddballs parade through the house on their way to film shoots in the basement. This farcical romantic comedy comes across as a calling card designed to show that writer-director Chuck Rose can put together a competent feature-length film—and competent’s about all it is, with its talent and energy put in service of some pretty uninspired material. 83 min.
