British director Terence Young, best known for a couple of early Bond films (Dr. No, From Russia With Love), started out with this 1948 feature about a wealthy art collector who believes he’s in love with a woman reincarnated from his favorite painting. With Eric Portman, Edana Romney (who cowrote and produced), and Christopher Lee in his film debut.
