This anthology film by Kyle Henry features four separate stories about sex, each set in and named after a different city. The movie kicks off with the comically absurd “Skokie” (in which a Yorkshire Terrier triggers sexual desire in a pair of closeted lesbians), then makes stops in Austin (to consider role playing), Tampa (bathroom hookups), and San Francisco (cross-dressing). Each episode runs 20 minutes, which gives Henry ample time to explore a specific theme, but rather than reach for a point, he settles for cheap humor. In the most tolerable episode, the dialogue-free “Tampa,” he uses inventive camerawork and the knowing glances of his actors to portray a sexual encounter between strangers in a men’s room, but this clever concept eventually leads to a sophomoric and incredibly graphic group sex scene that truly defines the term bathroom humor.
