Disposable teen romance, with pop singer Mandy Moore as a girl leery of love after her father (Peter Gallagher) ditches her mother (Allison Janney) for a blond bimbo. Trent Ford is the totally cute guy (tall, dark, and tongue-tied, with raggedly parted hair that probably took about two hours to style); Nina Foch generates a few feeble laughs as the heroine’s granny, who’s been given a new outlook on life by medical marijuana. Clare Kilner directed. 100 min.
