A not-so-bad black actioner (1971), coming as quite a surprise from director Arthur Marks, a stiff on his previous outings (Friday Foster) here graduated to amiable hackdom. Glynn Turman is a law student possessed by the spirit of a man murdered in 1942, which gives him a chance to sport a zoot suit as he carves up the heavies. As usual, blood flows freely and gratuitously, but you could do worse.
