In the mid-80s Samuel Beckett directed his own productions of these plays, along with Waiting for Godot, for film and video, using members of the San Quentin Drama Workshop; he noted that these productions were his “last word on the subject of these three plays.” Walter D. Asmus collaborated with Beckett on the direction of Krapp’s Last Tape, and Robert Bilheimer assisted in the direction of Endgame. To be shown on video.
