The Hanna-Barbera animation studio, associated with Tom and Jerry and much of the cheaply drawn animation done for TV, is behind this musical feature about animals with a cautionary ecological theme. Directed by Charles Grosvenor, written by Mark Young and Kelly Ward, and coproduced by An American Tail‘s David Kirschner; the voices belong to Michael Crawford, Ben Vereen, and a number of kids between the ages of 11 and 13, including Ellen Blain, Ben Gregory, Paige Gosney, and Elizabeth Moss.
