An hour-long documentary (1993) about the great Armenian filmmaker Sergei Paradjanov by his close friend and fellow Armenian Mikhail Vartanov. Included is footage of the shooting of Sayat Nova (also known as The Color of Pomegranates), glimpses of Paradjanov’s collages and drawings, the surviving footage of Paradjanov’s unfinished last film (The Confession), and sketches and letters Paradjanov sent Vartanov from prison.
