You can’t return to Never Land—that’s the whole point. Yet Disney tries in this grossly unimaginative Peter Pan sequel, an animated movie that even recycles its own ideas from scene to scene. The story opens as Jane, a hopeless realist, and her much younger and less skeptical brother—he can’t get enough of their mother Wendy’s stories about the antics of Peter, the Lost Boys, Tinker Bell, and Captain Hook and his crew—are about to be sent from their London home to the country because bombs are falling everywhere, though none as big as the movie. Robin Budd directed a screenplay by Temple Mathews; with the voices of Harriet Owen and Blayne Weaver. 76 min.
