Tina Fey and Amy Poehler star as grown, unmarried sisters whose elderly parents decide to sell the family home and move into a retirement community; left alone in the house on the weekend before it changes hands, the siblings throw a wild party and high jinks ensue. Sort of a feminine remake of the Will Ferrell-John C. Reilly dud Step Brothers, this Universal (read: garbage) release is short on wit and long on vulgarity, though Fey and Poehler strike a blow for gender equality by proving they can scrape their jokes off the floor as well as any man. Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) directed; with Maya Rudolph, Dianne Wiest, Samantha Bee, Rachel Dratch, and Kate McKinnon.
