Five swinging-dick businessmen share a downtown loft for their respective adulteries, but their partnership begins to fray when a dead woman turns up in the boudoir, handcuffed to the bed and lying in a pool of blood. This sleek and sleazy mystery originated as a 2008 Belgian feature and was filmed again in the Netherlands two years later before Erik Van Looy, director of the first version, used it as his ticket to Hollywood. The end result was shelved for more than a year before someone decided to release it, worried perhaps that yet another country might take a crack at it next. The twisty plot translates to any culture where swinging-dick businessmen cheat on their wives—which is to say, any culture. With Karl Urban, James Marsden, and Matthias Schoenaerts.
