This 1993 Israeli comedy, directed by Enrique Rottenberg from a concept by members of the Israeli-Argentinean community, won seven Israeli academy awards. It concerns a 40-year-old bachelor who unsuccessfully tries to market obscene key-ring charms featuring a plastic monk; one of these monks suddenly becomes life-size and leads the hero on a tour of his own life. It sounds rather like a Jewish Christmas Carol. With Moshe Ivgi. Presented in collaboration with the Spertus Institute of Jewish Studies.
