A series of screenings of films that played at the Tribeca Film Festival and question-and-answer sessions with actors and directors. Six films screen: David M. Rosenthal’s Janie Jones, about a 13-year-old girl who goes on tour with a rock band whose singer is apparently her father; Whitney Sudler-Smith’s Ultrasuede: In Search of Halston, a documentary about the 1970s designer; Joe Maggio’s The Last Rites of Joe May, starring Dennis Farina as an aging hustler; Gregory John’s Northeast, in which a Brooklynite decides to settle down; Vincent D’Onofrio’s Don’t Go in the Woods, a horror-musical about a band stalked by a killer; and Mary McGuakian’s The Man on the Train, about the bond between a professor and a criminal the professor takes in one night. Short Mr. Stache will precede the screenings.
