Warped Tour
The festival that’s been providing suburban teens with their first cases of heatstroke since 1995 returns with its usual massive lineup—this year it’s seven stages of punk, ska, rock, metalcore, screamo, hip-hop, and more. Among the fest’s main-stage acts are long-running ska-punks Less Than Jake, radio-ready Canadians Simple Plan, crabcore pioneers Attack Attack!, and frequently shirtless Hawaiians Pepper. Other notable bands include Winds of Plague, Foxy Shazam, Grieves, Black Veil Brides, Blood on the Dance Floor, Aggrolites, Set Your Goals, the Acacia Strain, Unwritten Law, Hellogoodbye, Lucero, Big D & the Kids Table, and Relient K. Set order will be determined on the day of the show. Sat 7/9, 11:30 AM, First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre, 866-448-7849, warpedtour.com, $37.50, $29.50 in advance.

And why wouldn’t there be a cruise the night before?
