To Kelly Kleiman,
After just reading your review of Landmarks [September 1], I really felt it important to respond, however briefly. (Please note: I have responded to one reviewer in my life and now you.) I don’t think in all of my years of being reviewed (and there have been a few) have I EVER experienced such a hateful, mean-spirited, and clueless review. I don’t know what you saw, but I certainly think you missed the boat. One quick comment is that the character of Ceil is posing for three artists, yes Kelly, let’s count ’em–not two but three–and not posing for an audience. Ceil is posing for an art workshop. Ya didn’t get it babe. One thing I know for sure and I will tell you outright, that I refuse to let this review make me feel ashamed of what I have accomplished in this piece. You, on the other hand, should be ashamed.
