We’re kicking off Giving Tuesday early this year! Your donation today will be matched up to $10K, doubling your impact! If you donate $50 today, the Reader will receive $100.

The Reader is now a community-funded nonprofit newsroom. Can we count on your support to help keep us publishing?

As someone who has enjoyed the Reader for over 30 years, I am dismayed and insulted by Liz Armstrong’s [November 10] column . Your editors have sunk to a new low.

To be honest, I never liked Chicago Antisocial to begin with. The column was barely cogent and poorly written with clipped, immature prose almost (but not quite) worthy of a high school diary; the column never provided any insight or useful information (perhaps I am hopelessly out of the Reader’s demographic).

We’ve established that Liz Armstrong is a lousy writer, but she’s also a lousy, soulless person and a poor excuse of a prostitute; an ethical whore never divulges the proclivities of or personal details about her clients. It is she, not Danny, that is pathetic.
