To the Editor:

Bravo! Bravo! I am writing in reference to the article from the August 5, 1994, issue of your newspaper on “Building Boom.” It was truly about time that most of those buildings which were noted in the article were decapitated, at least in print. I am most pleased with the cover photo of the Harold Washington Public Library building. The only saving grace to that building is that it is located on the far end of the Loop and many of us do not have to see that building very often while traveling through the city. However, in the case of 150 North Michigan Avenue, it is difficult to travel around the city without being subjected to that eye-pollution structure.

Thank you once again for an article which is immensely entertaining but also long overdue.
