In my review of the movie Inside Deep Throat [February 11], I misstated Charles Keating’s role in the “Keating Five” scandal. Keating lobbied five U.S. senators to intervene with federal banking regulators who were investigating his savings and loan in Irvine, California. Two years later, in 1989, a government bailout of Lincoln Savings and Loan cost taxpayers $2.6 billion.
