To the editors:
It was good to see your article on Literati Chicago in the March 4, 1988, Reader [Our Town]. However, I would like to clarify Capital City Press’s role in producing the journal.
We provide manufacturing services for publishers which include typesetting, printing, binding and distribution to subscribers. These are the types of services we provide for Lincoln Beauchamp as publisher of Literati Chicago and for George Plimpton as editor/publisher of the Paris Review. We are proud to be associated with these two journals which include literature and interviews of cultural figures, but are very different publications.
