To the editors:

The Neighborhood News title (November 12), which described Pat Hill as an activist, is puzzling. She has a personal problem with rules established by management. However, where are her battle wounds on behalf of the community, or on behalf of a fellow officer?

The Fraternal Order of Police must be comfortable with her “activism,” since Joe Roddy is representing her before the Police Board. That speaks volumes of the cozy relationship which has developed between black females and the predominantly white police establishment.

Can anyone imagine a situation where F.O.P. would be representing a Renault Robinson?
