To the editors:

In my opinion, Judith Lin Eftekhar’s “Picking Miss Polonaise” in the 7-26 issue of Reader was truly an insulting cheap shot at the Polish community of Chicago. While reading the nonsense, I honestly came to the conclusion that her many references to pork products and sausages likely reflect her frustration with the inadequacies of her male companions and have nothing to do with a beauty contest or other competition.
